πŸ—‘οΈ Skill Changes

Thief

  • Death Stab Now hits twice, targeting up to 6 monsters. Damage adjusted to 100% at Lv. 30 (previously 180% in a single hit).
  • Double Stab Now hits up to 2 monsters.
  • Drain (Assassin, 2nd Job) Now hits twice instead of once. Damage per hit reduced from 160% β†’ 80%, with an additional +10% bonus.
  • Bandit's Steal has been renamed to Death Stab, with a new icon, updated effects, and increased range.
  • New skill effects and icons added for Drain (range increased) and Night Walker's Avenger.
  • Death Stab & Savage Blow now scale up to Master Level 20, keeping the same damage, hit count, and mob count β€” improving early-game damage output and overall Bandit balance.
  • HP Boost (new skill for Bandits) Added to improve early-game survivability, bringing their HP more in line with other classes.
  • Shadow Slash New skill effect and icon showcasing a triple-slash attack hitting up to 6 enemies. Master Level 30: MP Cost: 50, Damage: 125%, Hits: 3.
  • Chakra is now an active buff skill. Temporarily converts 5% of damage dealt into MP, restoring mana with each attack. Master Level 5: MP Cost: 27, Duration: 110 sec, Cooldown: 210 sec.
    • Assaulter is now 15% faster.

Archer

  • Arrow Rain / Arrow Eruption (Sniper & Ranger, 3rd Job) Updated skill effects, increased range. Both skills now deal equalized damage at 150%.
  • Thrust (3rd Job) Master Level reduced from 10 β†’ 1. Description updated to reflect that it overrides Nimble Feet.
  • Archer's Fury β†’ Pain Killer (3rd Job) Now temporarily grants immunity to abnormal status effects and increases Avoidability. At Master Level 10: 25s duration, 75s cooldown.
  • Arrow Blow / Double Shot (1st Job) Now scale up to Master Level 10 (previously 20), allowing more flexibility to invest in both attack skills rather than being locked into one.
  • New skill effects and icons added for Arrow Blow.

Warrior

  • Power Strike New animation; now activates via LT/RB with increased range.
  • Slash Blast New animation; now activates via LT/RB with increased range.
  • New skill effect & icon added for Power Strike.
  • Sword, Axe, Mace, Polearm, and Spear Weapon Mastery & Booster now scale up to Master Level 10 (previously 20), allowing more flexibility to use multiple weapon types.

Hero (3rd Job)

  • Removed Panic & Coma (Sword/Axe variants). These skills no longer fit modern gameplay and saw little to no use.
  • Introduced Slash Blade a toned-down version of Brandish, giving Crusaders a reliable multi-target option during 3rd job. Allows players to fully invest in their 3rd job kit without wasting points on outdated skills.
  • New Skill Heroic Blessing: Grants all party members a +10% EXP bonus. Stacks with Holy Symbol, Linked Fortune, and EXP Coupons. Gives Heroes meaningful party utility, making them more desirable in grinding parties.

Paladin (3rd Job)

  • All Weapon Charges (Fire, Ice, Lightning) now have a Master Level of 15 (down from 30), granting full access to all charge types in 3rd job. Weapon-type restrictions (Sword/Hammer) have been removed, giving greater flexibility.

Dragon Knight (3rd Job)

  • Removed weapon restrictions from Dragon Fury and Crusher.
  • Removed duplicate Spear/Polearm skill variants weapon-specific versions are no longer needed.
    • Dragon Fury (Spear/Polearm) β†’ unified into Dragon Fury
    • Spear/Polearm Crusher β†’ renamed to Dragon Impale
  • Increased Dragon Fury attack range to improve viability as a primary farming skill into 4th Job. Builds on the 2nd Job Mastery changes introduced in Part I of this dev blog.

Mage

  • Fire Demon (3rd Job) is now a 3rd job skill instead of 4th hitting 6 targets once.
  • Magic Claw (1st Job) Now hits up to 3 targets once (previously 1 target twice). Base damage at Master Level 20 reduced from 40 β†’ 25.
  • Flame / Ice Stride (2nd Job buff) Now applies a Speed Boost (similar to CPQ Speed Up) to all monsters on the map, including newly respawned ones, while active.

Brawler

  • New skill effects and icons added for Somersault Kick (range increased).

Pirate / Gunslinger

  • [Imported] New Skill Icon, Effect and Sound to Double Shot 1st Pirate Class.
  • [Imported] New Skill Icon, Effect and Sound to Recoil Shot2nd Gunsingler Class.
  • [Imported] New Skill Icon, Effect and Sound to Invisible Shot2nd Gunsingler Class.
  • [Imported] New Skill Icon, Effect and Sound to Burst Fire3rd Outlaw Class.

Mobility Skills

  • Void Step Now optional to unlock at Lv. 70+ via the Void Step Quest. Requirements: 1Γ— Dark Crystal, 1Γ— Black Crystal, 7.5M Mesos, Defeat 500 Lucida. Improves early-game mobility and overall quality of life.

  • SkyLeap Now available at Lv. 45+, unlocked via the SkyLeap Quest. Requirements: 1Γ— Dark Crystal, 1Γ— Black Crystal, 5,000,000 Mesos, Defeat 500 Maladies. Improves early-game mobility and overall quality of life.

  • Voidstep & SkyLeap are now automatically granted upon quest completion no longer requires speaking to the Admin in FM.


🌍 Content & QoL

  • [Adjusted] Team Training is Fun! quest now requires 100Γ— mob kills (previously 200Γ—).
  • [Adjusted] Maker Skill now displays Required Level for all items. It also shows the reduced requirement when using Proof of the Knight or Proof of Rebirth.
  • [Adjusted] Quickslot icons now display a timer indicating how long remains until a buff or skill can be used again.
  • [Added] Daily Monster Hunter Quest (Lv. 100+) β€” Defeat 500 monsters within 20 levels of your own to receive a random special reward!
  • [Added] World Map Tooltip UI now displays all NPCs and monsters in each map, including their levels and total monster count.
  • [Adjusted] Reduced significantly the drop rate of 1.3Γ— EXP Vouchers at the Treasure Hunt Event.
  • [Adjusted] CWKPQ Reward Boxes (Bonus Stage):
    • Reduced significantly the drop rate of Party Quest Coins.
    • Increased significantly the drop rate of Faded Gelt.
    • Added Gachapon Tickets to chest drops.
  • [Removed] All HP/MP Scrolls have been removed from the DROP_TABLE, as they have no use in Mystic.
  • [Adjusted] Equipment drop rates have been slightly reduced.
  • [Adjusted] Collector Assignments now reset weekly.

  • 10 new monsters and a mini-boss

The beloved Family System has finally arrived in MysticMS, bringing meaningful progression and real rewards for playing together. Build your family tree by recruiting juniors or becoming one yourself.

As your family grows stronger, so do the benefits:

  • Each level-up within the family grants the Senior 15 Reps.
  • Every boss defeated by a Junior grants the Senior 10 Reps.

Family Buffs (30 minutes each, once per day):

⚑ Hyper Skill Level 5 (Added)

Unlock via Liebe in Mystic Sanctuary (FM).

Requirements:

  • Level 275+
  • 3Γ— Kerberos Orbs
  • Hyper Skill Level 4

Hyper Skill progression has also been rebalanced for a more intuitive curve, with additional buffs and nerfs throughout.


Quests & Progression

  • Jane and the Wild Boar and Jane Doe (Nora Hospital) are now auto-start quests and can be accepted remotely.
  • 99/99 Quests (Mushrooms, Evil Eyes) Reworked to 150/450 objectives with significantly improved EXP.
  • King Pepe's Scroll quest No longer repeatable; now requires 15 kills per mob (down from 200–400).
  • Forest of Evil II Zombie Lupins removed. Maladies spawn rate doubled.
  • Chryse drop table Now includes 4–5 Lv.50–60 items per monster, providing additional income during the questline.
  • Chryse Medal Improved to be more rewarding.
  • The following quests now auto-start at the required level for smoother progression: DANGER! (Lv. 99–999),Nero's Necklace,The Rememberer (Lv. 24+),Strange Dish1–3

Ultimate Explorer

  • Proof of the Knight removed from Maker.
  • Ultimate Explorer is no longer mandatory. You can still level a KoC to 120 to receive an Ultimate Creation Ticket, but Proof of the Knight can now be purchased on any character once you have a Lv. 120 KoC on your account similar to how Aran and Battlemages used to buy it. More freedom to start your main earlier, at the cost of Ultimate Adventurer benefits (Lv. 50 start, exclusive skills, and more).
  • Ultimate Creation Ticket can no longer be purchased in unlimited quantities. Rooney in Elnath now provides 1Γ— free ticket, allowing you one class re-roll if you're not satisfied with your choice.

Weapons & Gear

Weapon Progression Rework (Reverse β†’ Arcane Umbra)

All weapons from Reverse (early-game) up to Arcane Umbra (end-game) have been improved for a more rewarding upgrade path:

  • Added +1 upgrade slot to EMP weapons
  • Added +2 upgrade slots to Arcane Umbra weapons
  • Introduced bonus STR/DEX/INT/LUK stats based on weapon type (previously exclusive to Arcane Umbra)
  • Removed all sub-stats from weapons in this range
  • Added Character Speed Bonus to all Bows and Crossbows in this range
  • All weapons now feature a leveling system with 5 level-ups (Lv. 1–6), adding an extra layer of stat progression
  • Overall progression between tiers is now more meaningful and consistent

Ring & Gear Rework

Party Quest gear, Boss Hunter Medal, QuestMaster & Card Collector Rings, and Boss Rings have been fully reworked:

  • Stats are no longer random or mismatched between tiers each item now follows a clear growth formula
  • Progression is now scroll-focused rather than relying on base stats
  • Increased upgrade slots across the board

Crimsonwood Gelt Chocolate

Duration reduced to 5 minutes (from 10 minutes).

Gelt has been one of the strongest consumable buffs in the game and was relatively easy to obtain, creating an imbalance in progression and expedition scaling. Going forward:

  • Gelt will no longer drop in finished form from CWKPQ boxes it will drop as "Faded Gelt" instead.
  • Craft it through the Maker system using: 3Γ— Boss Orbs, 1Γ— Topaz, 3.25M Mesos.

Restores balance to consumables and gives Alchemist-based setups (Night Lords/Night Walkers in expeditions) more meaningful utility.

Miscellaneous QoL

  • @imhere command Displays a marker above your character's head to indicate your location. Especially useful in boss fights and crowded maps.
  • 200+ Face Accessories (Cash) added.
  • Golden Hour is now displayed in the server message (client title banner) when active.
  • Golden Hour now also activates 2Γ— Monster Spawn Rate (does not stack with the Mystical Pendant).
  • Hill & Lita-Lawless no longer serve as Expedition, Quest, and Weekly Hunter Masters. Roles reassigned to Melange, Shubert, and Hekaton.

  • Stone Colossus Collect Questline Now grants 1Γ— Lucky Day Scroll per quest completed.
  • Neo City ETC drop rate increased from 40% β†’ 65%.
  • Linked Level Now counts only one character per class. Duplicate classes no longer contribute (e.g., Hero and Paladin count separately).
  • Corsair's Fly Now scales with the character's movement speed.
  • Character Creation Now offers only the Purple Umbrella as a starting weapon.
  • Beginner Package No longer includes Pet Equipment; temporary pet duration reduced to 3 days. Potion and EXP voucher quantities also reduced.
  • Expedition Widget UI has been visually refreshed.
  • Night Lord Flash Jump now matches the updated animation.
  • Training Grounds Center (Beginner Area) Level restrictions removed.
  • Neo City boss entrances Level restrictions removed.
  • Normal Zakum can now be challenged solo.
  • Removed one Unit Skin from the 2nd Damage Skin pool.
  • Golden / Gray / White Yeti King Pepe HP reduced: 120,000 β†’ 50,000
  • Prime Minister Mushroom HP increased: 12,500 β†’ 75,000
  • Blaze / Glaze Capsule drop rate nerfed.
  • EXP/Drop bonuses (Linked Fortune, Holy Symbol, Heroic Blessing, EXP Voucher, Endless Barrage) are now displayed separately in the @check command to avoid confusion.

  • [Fixed] Some incorrect requirements (text) at Voidstep/Skyleap quests
  • [Fixed] All NPC's Location are now properly updated to the Hunt Quests.
  • [Fixed] Missing Fire Boar WANTED sign in Burnt Land I.
  • [Removed] IconReward from 10% scrolls.
  • [Fixed] Over 21 hunt quests were awarding incorrect EXP (not following the 20–40% level-based reward). These now properly follow the intended scaling. Several incorrect quest texts have also been corrected.
  • [Fixed] Cash Shop preview window now correctly displays your character.
  • [Fixed] DPS rankings now include pre-4th job players if they meet DPS requirements.
  • [Fixed] ETC Bearfoot can now be disassembled into Monster Crystal.
  • [Fixed] Duplicate rewards from the MMB40 Exchanger.
  • [Fixed] Damage Skin reroll occasionally failing or displaying duplicate skins.
  • [Fixed] Knight of Cygnus can now activate CWKPQ sigils in "The Test of Wit."
  • [Fixed] Potential Cash Shop crashes.
  • [Fixed] Aran tutorial skills now properly marked as disabled to prevent SP assignment crashes.
  • [Fixed] Aran issue when purchasing Proof of the Knight.
  • [Fixed] I/L Mage Hyper Skill (Glacial Blast) now correctly hits distant targets with proper hitbox.
  • [Fixed] "Event is now over, thanks for participating!" is no longer server-wide now only broadcasts to event participants.
  • [Fixed] Seal now correctly prevents monsters from casting skills and attacking.
  • [Fixed] Chaos Pianus & Boss trail were not located at the correct position at @dailies.
  • [Fixed] Leafre Forest: Crossroad will now only spawn Birks.
