Skill Changes

  • [Adjusted] 3rd Job Hero (Crusader)

    • Removed Panic & Coma (Sword/Axe). These skills no longer fit modern gameplay and saw little to no use.
    • Introduced Slash Blade – a toned-down version of Brandish, giving Crusaders a reliable multi-target option during 3rd job.
    • This change allows players to fully invest in their 3rd job kit without wasting points on outdated skills.

    New Skill – Heroic Blessing: Grants all party members a 10% EXP bonus. This effect stacks with other EXP buffs such as Holy Symbol, Linked Fortune, and EXP Coupons. Introduces meaningful party utility for Heroes, making them more desirable in grinding parties.

  • [Adjusted] 3rd Job Paladin All Weapon Charges (Fire, Ice, and Lightning) now have a Master Level of 15 (down from 30), allowing full access to all charge types in 3rd job. This removes weapon-type restrictions (Sword/Hammer), giving greater flexibility instead of locking you into a single option.

  • [Adjusted] 3rd Job Dragon Knight

    • Removed weapon restrictions from Dragon Fury and Crusher.
    • Removed duplicate skills (Spear/Polearm variants) since weapon-specific versions are no longer needed.
    • Dragon Fury (Spear/Polearm) → unified into Dragon Fury
    • Spear/Polearm Crusher → renamed to Dragon Impale
    • Increased Dragon Fury attack range to improve its viability as a primary farming skill in 4th Job This change improves balance for Dark Knights by removing the incentive to** lock into a single weapon type**, and builds on the 2nd Job Mastery changes introduced in Part I of this dev blog.
  • [Adjusted] Sword, Axe, Mace, Polearm, and Spear Weapon Mastery & Booster now scale up to Master Level 10 (instead of 20), allowing more flexibility to use multiple weapon types instead of being locked into just one.

  • [Adjusted] Warrior’s Power Strike now features a new animation and will activate using LT/RB with increased range.

  • [Added] New Skill Effect & Icon -> Arrow Blow, Double Stab & Power Strike.

  • [Imported] New skill effects and icons for Somersault Kick (range increased).

  • [Imported] New skill effects and icons for Drain (range increased) and Night Walker’s Avenger.

  • [Adjusted] Bandit’s Steal → renamed to Death Stab, with a new icon, updated effects, and increased range.

  • [Adjusted] Magic Claw (1st Job Mage) now hits up to 3 targets once (instead of 1 target twice).

    Master Level 20: Base damage reduced from 40 → 25.

  • [Adjusted] Warrior’s Slash Blast now features a new animation and activates via LT/RB, with increased range.

  • [Adjusted] Flame/Ice Stride (2nd Job Mage buff) now applies a Speed Boost (similar to CPQ Speed Up) to all monsters on the map, including newly respawned ones, while active.

Content & QoL

  • [Reworked] All weapons from Reverse (early-game) up to Arcane Umbra (end-game) have been improved to provide a more rewarding upgrade path.
    • Added +1 upgrade slot to EMP weapons
    • Added +2 upgrade slots to Arcane Umbra weapons
    • Introduced bonus STR/DEX/INT/LUK stats based on weapon type (previously exclusive to Arcane Umbra)
    • Overall progression between tiers is now more meaningful and consistent …and much more :smile:
  • [Reworked] Party Quest gear, Boss Hunter Medal, QuestMaster & Card Collector Rings and Boss Rings have been fully reworked to create a smoother, more consistent progression. Stats are no longer random or mismatched between tiers each item now follows a clear growth formula, offering meaningful upgrades at every stage. Progression is now more scroll focused rather than relying on base stats, with** increased upgrade slots across the board.**
  • [Adjusted] Removed all sub-stats from weapons between Reverse (early-game) and Arcane Umbra (end-game).
  • [Added] Increased Character Speed Bonus for all Bows and Crossbows from Reverse (early-game) up to Arcane Umbra (end-game).
  • [Adjusted] All weapons from Reverse (early-game) to Arcane Umbra (end-game) now feature a leveling system with 5 total level-ups (Lv. 1–6), adding an extra layer of stat progression and making the upgrade path more engaging and rewarding as you progress.

[Fully Imported] Forgotten Hollow

A brand-new area has arrived in Victoria Island, featuring 10 new monsters and a mini-boss. Explore 11 new Monster Cards and dive into a fully functional custom questline with 19 quests designed for level 60+. Step into a completely new experience a zone never seen before!

[Added] Family System

The beloved Family System has finally arrived in MysticMS bringing meaningful progression and real rewards for playing together. Build your family tree by recruiting juniors or becoming one yourself. As your family grows stronger, so do the benefits:

  • Each level-up within the family grants the Senior 15 Reps.
  • Every boss defeated by a Junior grants the Senior 10 Reps. Family Buffs (30 minutes each, once per day):
  • Bless (200 Rep) – Grants GM Bless (ATT & M.ATT +20, ACC, EVA, DEF & M.DEF +100)
  • Haste (350 Rep) – Grants GM Haste (Speed & Jump boost)
  • Hyper Body (500 Rep) – Increases Max HP & MP
  • Holy Symbol (700 Rep) – Grants bonus EXP from monsters
  • Full Package (1500 Rep) – Grants GM Haste, Holy Symbol, Hyper Body, and GM Bless to all Players on the same map This system adds a fresh layer of progression and finally gives real value to party–family play.

  • [Adjusted] Hyper Skill progression has been rebalanced for a more intuitive curve, with additional buffs and nerfs.

Systems & Balance

  • [Adjusted] Stone Colossous Collect Quest-line now grants 1x Lucky day scroll for each quest completed.
  • [Adjusted] Increased Neo City ETC drop rate from 40% to 65%.
  • [Balanced] Linked Level now counts only one character per class. Duplicate classes no longer contribute (e.g., Hero and Paladin count separately).
  • [Adjusted] Corsair’s Fly now scales with the character’s movement speed.
  • [Adjusted] Character Creation now offers only the Purple Umbrella as a starting weapon.
  • [Adjusted] Beginner Package no longer includes Pet Equipment; temporary pet duration reduced to 3 days.
  • [Reduced] Beginner Package potion and EXP voucher quantities.
  • [Adjusted] Expedition Widget UI has been visually refreshed.
  • [Adjusted] Night Lord Flash Jump now matches the updated animation.
  • [Adjusted] Training Grounds Center (Beginner Area) no longer has level restrictions.
  • [Adjusted] Neo City boss entrances no longer have level restrictions.
  • [Adjusted] Normal Zakum can now be challenged solo.
  • [Adjusted] Removed one Unit Skin from the 2nd Damage Skin pool.

Bug Fixes

  • [Fixed] Cash Shop preview window now correctly displays your character.
  • [Fixed] DPS rankings now include pre-4th job players if they meet DPS requirements.
  • [Fixed] ETC - Bearfoot can now be disassemble into Monster Crystal.
  • [Fixed] Duplicate rewards from the MMB40 Exchanger.
  • [Fixed] Damage Skin reroll occasionally failing or displaying duplicate skins.
  • [Fixed] Knight of Cygnus can now activate CWKPQ sigils in “The Test of Wit.”
  • [Fixed] Potential Cash Shop crashes.
  • [Fixed] Aran tutorial skills now properly marked as disabled to prevent SP assignment crashes.
  • [Fixed] Aran issue when purchasing Proof of the Knight.
  • [Fixed] I/L Mage Hyper Skill (Glacial Blast) now correctly hits distant targets with proper hitbox.
  • [Fixed] "Event is now over, thanks for participating!" is no longer server-wide and only broadcasts to participants.
  • [Fixed] Seal now correctly prevents monsters from casting skills and attacking.
  • [Fixed] Chaos Pianus & Boss trail weren't located at the correct position at @dailies.
  • [Adjusted] EXP/Drop bonuses (Linked Fortune, Holy Symbol, Heroic Blessing, EXP Voucher, Endless Barrage) are now displayed separately in the @check command to avoid confusion.
